Despite the outdated decor, my stay at Hotel Haus Schurmann was pleasant. The owner was incredibly helpful and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The interior of the hotel was clean and freshly decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere. The parking facilities were great, and the staff on site were friendly and spoke sufficient English. My room was nice and clean, although the bed was excessively large, making it a bit challenging to move around. The breakfast offered a plentiful continental spread, although it lacked hot food options during my November stay. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would still recommend this hotel for its reasonable price and lovely location.

the parking was convenient and the staff on site were very nice. They were able to communicate in English, which was a big help. the bedroom was clean and nicely furnished. the only downside was the flat pillow, but they provided a second one upon request. it was a pleasant stay.

The apartment at Hotel Haus Schurmann was amazing! It had everything we needed, including a fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, and stovetop. We felt right at home cooking our meals. The three living rooms in the apartment were a real bonus. It was so spacious and comfortable for our group of friends. We could relax and hang out together without feeling cramped. The tile/marble floor gave the apartment a luxurious feel. It was cool to walk on and added a touch of elegance to the space. Having a tea and coffee maker in the apartment was a lifesaver. We could enjoy our favorite beverages whenever we wanted. The wardrobe in the apartment was spacious enough to store all our clothes and belongings. It kept everything organized and easily accessible. The flat-screen TV in the apartment was a great addition. We could unwind and watch our favorite shows after a long day of trekking.

Personally, I didn't find much use for the separate bedrooms in the apartment. It would have been nice to have a more open space instead.

We stayed at a hotel in Dorsten that had great parking, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast. The price per night with breakfast was unbeatable compared to other options in the area. The owner went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and the interior of the hotel was clean and newly decorated. As a family with kids, we appreciated the helpfulness of the staff and the availability of activities for children.
